The propose exhibition is an application of Sistema Lupo. Use as a teaching tool is based on the idea of ​​”learning through play”. The methodology is eminently practical and tries to motivate the participant to create from their own intuition, following experimental pedagogical models.

Lupo system provides a double line in the theory-practice dichotomy. A job in the theoretical and practical work with the proposed material (blocks).

For this sample we decided as the subject of work an iconic piece of international design: “Vespa” , example of adaptation of techniques from different industrial areas, adapted to the material and techniques used, part-product that revolutionizes lives and societies through democratization production and use.

To this iconic character that made you transcend as part and has been kept alive through continuous revision adds. His image has also been appropriated by different social or cultural groups who consider it a symbol with which to identify.

The relationship between the aeronautical engineer Corradino D’Ascanio, designer among others of the first modern helicopter and industrial Enrico Piaggio train manufacturer, reflects those enriching collaborations, in this case, eventually revolutionize the world of light transport.

This wealth found in the Vespa, is transformed into didactic action through a mosaic of images and documents on its history that allows us to use cross teaching strategies involving the participant in the story through a narrative that invite reflection and where not only the beauty of the final piece, but also the technical development which made it possible, show your social impact on urban life, women, youth, mobility… The dynamics of the workshops also stimulate creative and social aspects because they are building blocks of large format which encourages teamwork.

And finally we made a “participatory experiment“. We left the pieces of wood with a legend that you can see in the pictures and the children sent the pictures of their creations to the website of the Foundation.

The experiment focuses on the importance of unconscious acts of free expression without filters, notions of position, balance, density… To do this we focus on the order, stacking not projected… In these usually anonymous constructions have no more claim that the storage elements… Based on the experimental treaties on children’s drawings and random constructions, encouraged to reflect on the relationship between us and our cross forms of expression through our most basic and everyday gestures.
